KIDS RACING FOR LIFE

NEXT KRFL EVENT:  September 10-12, 2010 at Sebring Int'l Raceway

The bad economy left us $2,500 short for the 2009 KRFL event. As we begin to prepare for the 2010 event, the Kids Racing for Life program desperately needs your financial help. Kids Racing for Life (KRFL) is a program pioneered by Zoeller Motorsports Ministries in 1997. The KRFL community outreach program treats terminally ill children and their families to an all expense paid weekend racing getaway "experience". They get to meet the drivers, the crew, the officials; they get to go for rides around the race track in fully prepared race cars and high performance street cars; and they get to take some much needed time away from all of the hospitals, doctors, nurses, and needles. The parents have an opportunity to fellowship with other families going through a similar crisis, and in the end, they also receive exposure to a personal relationship with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

2008 was the 10th anniversary of the event.  More than 120 kids, parents, and volunteers attended our best KRFL event ever at Sebring International Raceway.  The kids were treated to race car rides, a Christian Magician, a fully catered banquet by the McGruff organization, a DJ dance party on Saturday night, and we even had world famous race car driver Justin Bell (son of another famous road racer, Derek Bell) on hand as our guest speaker.  What an incredible event.
